Content Writer – Spontasy
Role and Responsibilities
- Research and write fantasy sports blogs, match previews, and strategic guides.
- Stay up to date with major sports leagues, schedules, and player performances.
- Create SEO-optimized content to enhance reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop engaging visuals and infographics.
- Proofread, edit, and ensure accuracy in sports analytics before publication.
- Identify trending topics and propose new content ideas for our audience.
- Promote content across social media and fantasy sports communities.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience as a Content Writer or Copywriter in sports, gaming, or digital media.
- A portfolio showcasing published content (blogs, guides, or social media posts).
- A strong interest in sports and fantasy gaming (knowledge of Cricket, Kabaddi, or NBA is a plus).
- Ability to track and analyze upcoming leagues, series, and player performances.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, including on-page optimization and keyword research.
- Bonus: Experience with Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or other SEO tools.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce fast, accurate, and engaging content.
